Indian Stock Market Updates November 6, 2018

TATA MOTORS DVR Surges by 5%; BSE AUTO Index Down 0.1%

TATA MOTORS DVR share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 108.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO Index is at 20,804 (down 0.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE AUTO Index today is TATA MOTORS DVR (up 5.1%).

BAJAJ AUTO and MRF LTD. (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TATA MOTORS DVR has moved down from Rs 259 to Rs 108, registering a loss of Rs 152 (down 58.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO has moved down from 25,561 to 20,804, loss of 4,757 points (down 19.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO Index stocks during this same period were EXIDE INDUSTRIES (up 25.5%) and M&M (up 13.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 35,196 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA MOTORS DVR (up 5.1%), TATA MOTORS (up 4.3%) and ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 2.0%). Other gainers include TCS (up 1.8%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA MOTORS and YES BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,600 (up 0.3%). TATA MOTORS (up 4.8%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,731 to 35,196, registering a gain of 1,465 points (up 3.9%).
