EICHER MOTOR Plunges by 5%; BSE AUTO Index Down 1.3%

EICHER MOTOR share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 22,488.
Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO Index is at 20,647 (down 1.3%).
Among the top losers in the BSE AUTO Index today is EICHER MOTOR (down 5.3%).
Over the last one year, EICHER MOTOR has moved down from Rs 29,901 to Rs 22,488, registering a loss of Rs 7,413 (down 24.8%)..
The BSE AUTO has moved down from 26,543 to 20,647, loss of 5,896 points (down 22.2%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE AUTO Index stocks during this same period were EXIDE INDUSTRIES (up 21.4%) and M&M (up 1.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 36,203 (down 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INFOSYS LTD (up 0.6%), TCS (up 0.6%) and SBI (up 0.4%). Other gainer include ITC LTD (up 0.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and INFOSYS LTD.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,881 (down 0.3%). WIPRO (up 1.2%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 33,813 to 36,203, registering a gain of 2,390 points (up 6.8%).
EICHER MOTOR Financial Update...
EICHER MOTOR net profit down at Rs 5 billion for the quarter ended September 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 5 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.1% to Rs 24.1 billion during the period as against Rs 22.7 billion in July-September 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, EICHER MOTOR reported 26.2% increase in net profit to Rs 19.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 15.2 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 16.0% to Rs 92 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of EICHER MOTOR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.1x.
