RELIANCE INFRA Plunges by 5%; BSE POWER Index Down 0.0%

RELIANCE INFRA share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 317.
Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,975 .
Among the top losers in the BSE POWER Index today is RELIANCE INFRA (down 5.1%).
POWER GRID (up 1.1%) and SIEMENS (up 0.7%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, RELIANCE INFRA has moved down from Rs 537 to Rs 317, registering a loss of Rs 220 (down 41.0%)..
The BSE POWER has moved down from 2,373 to 1,975, loss of 398 points (down 16.8%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were ADANI POWER (up 18.2%) and ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 0.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 36,468 . The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are M&M (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are POWER GRID and AXIS BANK.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,929 (up 0.1%). BHARTI INFRATEL (up 1.9%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 34,771 to 36,468, registering a gain of 1,697 points (up 4.5%).
RELIANCE INFRA Financial Update...
RELIANCE INFRA net profit down at Rs 34 billion for the quarter ended September 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 532 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 1.9% to Rs 57.5 billion during the period as against Rs 58.6 billion in July-September 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, RELIANCE INFRA reported 468.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.6 billion compared to net loss of Rs 966.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 3.7% to Rs 254 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of RELIANCE INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 3.3x.
