CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL Plunges by 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 2.4%

CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 25.
Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 19,680 (down 2.4%).
Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL (down 5.6%).
ABB INDIA (up 0.8%) and SIEMENS (up 0.7%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL has moved down from Rs 58 to Rs 25, registering a loss of Rs 33 (down 56.9%)..
The BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 17,324 to 19,680, registering a gain of 2,356 points (up 13.6%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were HAVELLS IND (up 38.6%), ABB INDIA (up 32.0%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 31.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,476 (down 0.9%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are YES BANK (up 5.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and INFOSYS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,772 (down 0.9%). YES BANK (up 4.9%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,575 to 39,476, registering a gain of 3,901 points (up 10.0%).
CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL Financial Update...
CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL net profit down at Rs 686 million for the quarter ended December 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 695 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 83.3% to Rs 17.2 billion during the period as against Rs 9.4 billion in October-December 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL reported 66.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 512.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 1.5 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 6.1% to Rs 63 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of CG POWER & INDUSTRIAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 8.4x.
