HIND. CONSTRUCTION surges by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.4%

HIND. CONSTRUCTION share price has Zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 15.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,153 (Up 1.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is HIND. CONSTRUCTION (up 5.04%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 0.09%) and HOUSING DEV. INFRA (down 2.31%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HIND. CONSTRUCTION has moved down from Rs 43 to Rs 15, registering a loss of Rs 28 (down 65.66%)

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 1,975 to 2,153, registering a gain of 178 points (up 8.69%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were PHOENIX MILL (up 53.78%), GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 37.45%) and OBEROI REALTY (up 30.63%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 35,203 (up 0.55%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA MOTORS (up 2.98%), BHARTI AIRTEL (up 2.67%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 2.19%). Other gainers include SBI (up 1.99%) and SUN PHARMA (up 1.83%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are AXIS BANK and TATA MOTORS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,662 (up 0.63%). TATA MOTORS DVR (up 3.42%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,309 to 35,203, registering a gain of 3,894 points (up 12.09%).

HIND. CONSTRUCTION Financial Update...

HIND. CONSTRUCTION net profit grew 64.2% YoY to Rs 201 million for the quarter ended March 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 313 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 117.2% to Rs 14.4 billion during the period as against Rs 12.3 billion in January-March 2017.

For the year ended March 2017, HIND. CONSTRUCTION reported 209.7% increase in net profit to Rs 8.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 4.2 billion during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 115.5% to Rs 99 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HIND. CONSTRUCTION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.3x.
