BSE Sensex at All Time High; YES BANK Among Top Gainers

The BSE Sensex has hit an all-time high at 40,527 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE Sensex today are YES BANK (up 2.7%), INFOSYS (up 2.4%) and ICICI BANK (up 2.2%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 1.8%) and TATA MOTORS (up 1.7%).

The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are YES BANK and TATA MOTORS DVR.

BHARTI AIRTEL (down 2.8%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

In the meantime, the NSE Nifty is at 11,989 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include CIPLA (up 2.7%), YES BANK (up 2.6%) and INFOSYS (up 2.4%). Other gainers include ICICI BANK (up 2.3%) and ZEE ENTERTAINMENT (up 2.1%).

Which stocks contributed the most to the BSE Sensex?

Over the last one year, the BSE Sensex has moved up from Rs 34,951 to Rs 40,527, registering a gain of Rs 5,576 (up 15.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks during this same period were BAJAJ FINANCE (up 79.4%), ASIAN PAINTS (up 45.4%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 39.7%).
