ZEE ENTERTAINMENT Plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.5%

ZEE ENTERTAINMENT share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 302.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,533 (down 0.5%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are ZEE ENTERTAINMENT (down 5.3%) and RBL BANK LTD (down 6.5%).
ERIS LIFESCIENCES LIMITED (up 13.7%) and MMTC LTD (up 12.8%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, ZEE ENTERTAINMENT has moved down from Rs 478 to Rs 302, registering a loss of Rs 176 (down 36.8%)..
The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,316 to 15,533, registering a gain of 1,217 points (up 8.5%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 172.3%), ASTRAZENECA PHARMA (up 99.6%) and MANAPPURAM FINANCE (up 92.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 40,952 (down 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA STEEL and TCS.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,057 (down 0.4%). BHARTI INFRATEL (up 4.8%) and DR. REDDYS LAB (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,884 to 40,952, registering a gain of 5,068 points (up 13.1%).
ZEE ENTERTAINMENT Financial Update...
ZEE ENTERTAINMENT net profit down at Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 6 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 2.1% to Rs 21.2 billion during the period as against Rs 21.7 billion in July-September 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, ZEE ENTERTAINMENT reported 18.2% increase in net profit to Rs 15.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 13.4 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 18.7% to Rs 79 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of ZEE ENTERTAINMENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 15.2x.
