Indian Stock Market Updates January 16, 2020

INOX WIND Surges by 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.4%

INOX WIND share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 47.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 17,491 (up 0.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is INOX WIND (up 6.2%).

THERMAX (down 0.2%) and NBCC (INDIA) LTD (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INOX WIND has moved down from Rs 74 to Rs 47, registering a loss of Rs 27 (down 36.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved down from 17,935 to 17,491, loss of 444 points (down 2.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were SIEMENS (up 42.8%), HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 24.8%) and BHARAT ELECTRONICS (up 18.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 42,010 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SUN PHARMA (up 1.3%), NESTLE (up 1.0%) and HUL (up 1.0%). Other gainers include POWER GRID (up 0.7%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,378 (up 0.2%). YES BANK (up 1.6%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,318 to 42,010, registering a gain of 5,692 points (up 15.6%).
