INDRAPRASTHA GAS at All Time High; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 0.7%

INDRAPRASTHA GAS share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 527 (up 1.0%).

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 14,388 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 1.0%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 0.4%).

HPCL (down 0.3%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, INDRAPRASTHA GAS has moved up from Rs 305 to Rs 527, registering a gain of Rs 222 (up 70.2%).

The BSE OIL & GAS has moved up from 13,655 to 14,388, registering a gain of 733 points (up 5.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 70.2%), BPCL (up 48.5%) and PETRONET LNG (up 22.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 41,342 (up 0.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.5%), HUL (up 1.2%) and TATA STEEL (up 1.2%). Other gainers include BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.0%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,151 (up 0.2%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include YES BANK (up 3.7%), ZEE ENTERTAINMENT (up 2.8%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.6%). Other gainers include JSW STEEL (up 1.6%) and VEDANTA LTD (up 1.5%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,617 to 41,342, registering a gain of 4,725 points (up 12.6%).

INDRAPRASTHA GAS Financial Update...

INDRAPRASTHA GAS net profit stood at Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 12.5% to Rs 18.7 billion during the period as against Rs 16.6 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, INDRAPRASTHA GAS reported 16.2% increase in net profit to Rs 7.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 6.5 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 26.9% to Rs 64 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDRAPRASTHA GAS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 35.6x.
