MOTHERSON SUMI Plunges by 5%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.5%

MOTHERSON SUMI share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 136.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,889 (down 0.5%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are MOTHERSON SUMI (down 5.3%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 5.7%).
GUJARAT NARMADA (up 10.9%) and LAKSHMI VILAS BANK (up 10.0%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, MOTHERSON SUMI has moved down from Rs 142 to Rs 136, registering a loss of Rs 6 (down 4.1%)..
The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,500 to 15,889, registering a gain of 1,389 points (up 9.6%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 520.7%), NIPPON LIFE INDIA AMC (up 151.8%) and ICICI SECURITIES LTD (up 140.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 41,172 (down 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ FINANCE (up 0.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and BHARTI AIRTEL.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,104 (down 0.6%). UPL (up 4.7%) and CIPLA (up 0.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,971 to 41,172, registering a gain of 4,201 points (up 10.7%).
MOTHERSON SUMI Financial Update...
MOTHERSON SUMI net profit down at Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 5 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 3.3% to Rs 159.2 billion during the period as against Rs 164.7 billion in July-September 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, MOTHERSON SUMI reported 13.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 19.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 23.0 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 12.4% to Rs 635 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of MOTHERSON SUMI, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.9x.
