DLF Surges by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.9%

DLF share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 212.
Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,185 (up 1.9%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is DLF (up 5.3%).
OMAXE LTD (down 1.1%) and PHOENIX MILL (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, DLF has moved up from Rs 165 to Rs 212, registering a gain of Rs 48 (up 28.7%).
On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 1,796 to 2,185, registering a gain of 389 points (up 20.5%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 45.9%), GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 43.8%) and PHOENIX MILL (up 35.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 39,083 (up 1.8%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 5.6%), ICICI BANK (up 4.5%) and INFOSYS (up 3.9%). Other gainers include NESTLE (up 3.1%) and HDFC (up 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ONGC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,433 (up 1.7%). HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 5.7%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,867 to 39,083, registering a gain of 3,216 points (up 8.7%).
DLF Financial Update...
DLF net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 39.5% to Rs 13.4 billion during the period as against Rs 22.2 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, DLF reported 1305.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 44.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.7 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 18.4% to Rs 67 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of DLF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 38.2x.
