RELIANCE INFRA Plunges by 10%; BSE POWER Index Down 3.3%

RELIANCE INFRA share price has plunged 10% and is presently trading at Rs 16.
Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,716 (down 3.3%).
Among the top losers in the BSE POWER Index today are RELIANCE INFRA (down 9.8%) and KALPATARU POWER (down 7.3%).
Over the last one year, RELIANCE INFRA has moved down from Rs 135 to Rs 16, registering a loss of Rs 119 (down 88.4%)..
The BSE POWER has moved down from 1,905 to 1,716, loss of 189 points (down 9.9%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were SIEMENS (up 26.5%), TORRENT POWER LTD (up 24.4%) and GMR INFRA (up 12.2%).

RELIANCE INFRA Financial Update...
RELIANCE INFRA net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 3.9% to Rs 39.5 billion during the period as against Rs 41.2 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, RELIANCE INFRA reported 468.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.6 billion compared to net loss of Rs 966.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 3.7% to Rs 254 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of RELIANCE INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 0.2x.
