MAHINDRA LIFESPACE Plunges by 10%; BSE REALTY Index Down 6.9%

MAHINDRA LIFESPACE share price has plunged 10% and is presently trading at Rs 305.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 1,892 (down 6.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY Index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 10.1%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 10.9%).

Over the last one year, MAHINDRA LIFESPACE has moved down from Rs 374 to Rs 305, registering a loss of Rs 69 (down 18.4%)..

The BSE REALTY has moved up from 1,849 to 1,892, registering a gain of 43 points (up 2.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 23.7%), PHOENIX MILL (up 21.8%) and GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 21.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 34,472 (down 4.7%).

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,041 (down 5.0%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 37,054 to 34,472, registering a loss of 2,582 points (down 8.2%).

MAHINDRA LIFESPACE Financial Update...

MAHINDRA LIFESPACE net profit down at Rs 207 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 110 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 36.6% to Rs 788.0 million during the period as against Rs 1.2 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, MAHINDRA LIFESPACE reported 21.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 460.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 586.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 4.7% to Rs 6 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MAHINDRA LIFESPACE , based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 77.1x.
