Indian Stock Market Updates April 15, 2020

INOX WIND Surges by 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.6%

INOX WIND share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 23.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 11,845 (up 1.6%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are INOX WIND (up 7.0%) and NBCC (INDIA) LTD (up 7.0%).

THERMAX (down 1.5%) and CARBORUNDUM UNIVERSAL (down 1.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INOX WIND has moved down from Rs 70 to Rs 23, registering a loss of Rs 47 (down 67.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved down from 18,384 to 11,845, loss of 6,539 points (down 35.8%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 11.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 31,400 (up 2.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 3.9%), HDFC BANK (up 3.7%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 3.4%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 3.1%) and ICICI BANK (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are L&T and M&M.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,200 (up 1.8%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include UPL (up 5.4%), HINDALCO (up 5.1%) and SHREE CEMENT (up 4.3%). Other gainers include ICICI BANK (up 3.6%) and JSW STEEL (up 3.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,906 to 31,400, registering a loss of 7,506 points (down 19.44%).
