SHRIRAM CITY UNION Plunges by 7%; BSE 500 Index Up 2.0%

SHRIRAM CITY UNION share price has plunged 7% and is presently trading at Rs 735.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 11,906 (up 2.0%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are SHRIRAM CITY UNION (down 7.2%) and TTK PRESTIGE (down 5.7%).
VODAFONE IDEA (up 14.9%) and GLENMARK PHARMA (up 13.5%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, SHRIRAM CITY UNION has moved down from Rs 1,753 to Rs 735, registering a loss of Rs 1,018 (down 58.1%)..
The BSE 500 has moved down from 15,389 to 11,906, loss of 3,483 points (down 22.6%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 398.8%), ABBOTT INDIA (up 119.3%) and NAVIN FLUORINE (up 110.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 31,400 (up 1.9%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SUN PHARMA (up 5.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ONGC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,200 (up 2.2%). UPL (up 9.5%) and HINDALCO (up 5.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,906 to 31,400, registering a loss of 7,506 points (down 19.66%).
SHRIRAM CITY UNION Financial Update...
SHRIRAM CITY UNION net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended June 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 3.7% to Rs 14.9 billion during the period as against Rs 14.4 billion in April-June 2018.
For the year ended March 2018, SHRIRAM CITY UNION reported 18.7% increase in net profit to Rs 6.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 5.8 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 13.8% to Rs 54 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SHRIRAM CITY UNION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.0x.
