The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 5.6%), TCS (up 3.9%) and ICICI BANK (up 3.5%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 3.0%) and ONGC (up 2.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,326 (up 1.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ZEE ENTERTAINMENT (up 6.9%), KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 5.8%) and TCS (up 4.3%). Other gainers include HINDALCO (up 4.0%) and ICICI BANK (up 3.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,645 to 31,849, registering a loss of 6,796 points (down 17.73%).
SIEMENS net profit stood at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.9% to Rs 26.7 billion during the period as against Rs 28.1 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended September 2019, SIEMENS reported 22.0% increase in net profit to Rs 11.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 9.0 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 7.6% to Rs 138 billion during FY19.
