Indian Stock Market Updates April 28, 2020

ORACLE FINANCIAL Surges by 6%; BSE IT Index Down 0.4%

ORACLE FINANCIAL share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 2,234.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT Index is at 13,340 (down 0.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE IT Index today are ORACLE FINANCIAL (up 5.8%) and NIIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 5.3%).

INFOSYS (down 1.1%) and MINDTREE (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ORACLE FINANCIAL has moved down from Rs 3,512 to Rs 2,234, registering a loss of Rs 1,278 (down 36.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT has moved down from 16,264 to 13,340, loss of 2,924 points (down 19.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT Index stocks during this same period were INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 10.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 32,165 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 9.6%), HDFC (up 5.0%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 4.1%). Other gainers include AXIS BANK (up 3.7%) and ICICI BANK (up 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are INDUSIND BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,403 (up 0.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDUSIND BANK (up 9.5%), HDFC (up 5.3%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 4.4%). Other gainers include GAIL (up 3.8%) and AXIS BANK (up 3.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,032 to 32,165, registering a loss of 6,867 points (down 18.39%).

ORACLE FINANCIAL Financial Update...

ORACLE FINANCIAL net profit stood at Rs 5 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 2.2% to Rs 11.6 billion during the period as against Rs 11.9 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2017, ORACLE FINANCIAL reported 16.6% increase in net profit to Rs 12.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 10.7 billion during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 7.1% to Rs 44 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ORACLE FINANCIAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 14.0x.
