Indian Stock Market Updates June 19, 2020

NILKAMAL Share Price Up by 11%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.9%

NILKAMAL share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 1,197.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 13,310 (up 0.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are NILKAMAL (up 10.5%) and PIRAMAL ENTERPRISES (up 10.6%).

AJANTA PHARMA and VARDHMAN TEXTILES are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NILKAMAL has moved down from Rs 1,201 to Rs 1,197, registering a loss of Rs 4 (down 0.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved down from 15,128 to 13,310, loss of 1,818 points (down 12.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 930.9%), DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 157.3%) and GRANULES INDIA (up 126.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 34,668 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ FINANCE (up 5.5%), RELIANCE IND. (up 4.5%) and AXIS BANK (up 2.6%). Other gainers include MARUTI SUZUKI (up 2.2%) and ONGC (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and AXIS BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,226 (up 0.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 5.6%), TATA MOTORS (up 5.0%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 4.9%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINSERV (up 3.5%) and BHARTI INFRATEL (up 3.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,046 to 34,668, registering a loss of 4,378 points (down 11.66%).

NILKAMAL Financial Update...

NILKAMAL net profit stood at Rs 431 million for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 275 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.0% to Rs 5.4 billion during the period as against Rs 5.6 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, NILKAMAL reported 5.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.2 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 9.3% to Rs 24 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NILKAMAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.8x.
