PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH Share Price Up by 7%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Down 0.3%

PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 4,703.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 18,984 (down 0.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today is PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH (up 6.9%).

DR. REDDYS LAB and STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH has moved down from Rs 4,711 to Rs 4,703, registering a loss of Rs 8 (down 0.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved up from 12,506 to 18,984, registering a gain of 6,478 points (up 50.0%) during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,214 (down 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ASIAN PAINTS (up 3.8%), BAJAJ FINANCE (up 3.0%) and BAJAJ FINSERV (up 2.8%). Other gainers include TATA MOTORS (up 2.3%) and UPL (up 2.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,977 to 38,044, registering a gain of 1,067 points (up 2.70%).

PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH Financial Update...

PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH net profit stood at Rs 465 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 382 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 3.7% to Rs 2.3 billion during the period as against Rs 2.4 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended December 2018, PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH reported 116.1% increase in net profit to Rs 952.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 440.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 19.3% to Rs 8 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 47.5x.
