Indian Stock Market Updates September 22, 2020

TVS SRICHAKRA Share Price Down by 6%; BSE 500 Index Down 1.9%

TVS SRICHAKRA share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,425.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,842 (down 1.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are TVS SRICHAKRA (down 6.4%) and FINE ORGANIC INDUSTRIES (down 8.1%).

GSK CONSUMER (up 5.1%) and SYNDICATE BANK (up 3.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, TVS SRICHAKRA has moved down from Rs 1,797 to Rs 1,425, registering a loss of Rs 372 (down 20.7%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,078 to 14,842, registering a gain of 764 points (up 5.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 1064.1%), LAURUS LABS LTD (up 288.2%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 229.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 38,210 (down 1.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TCS (up 0.4%), HDFC BANK (up 0.2%) and ICICI BANK (up 0.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and HDFC BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,302 (down 1.1%). HDFC BANK (up 0.4%) and ICICI BANK (up 0.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,564 to 38,210, registering a gain of 1,646 points (up 2.84%).

TVS SRICHAKRA Financial Update...

TVS SRICHAKRA net profit down at Rs 203 million for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 236 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 6.4% to Rs 5.5 billion during the period as against Rs 5.8 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, TVS SRICHAKRA reported 12.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.2 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 10.4% to Rs 24 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TVS SRICHAKRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12.0x.
