MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS Share Price Up by 5%; BSE METAL Index Up 2.4%

MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 288.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 10,637 (up 2.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE METAL Index today are MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS (up 5.0%) and SAIL (up 5.0%).

Over the last one year, MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS has moved down from Rs 376 to Rs 288, registering a loss of Rs 88 (down 23.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL has moved up from 9,699 to 10,637, registering a gain of 938 points (up 9.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE METAL Index stocks during this same period were JINDAL STEEL & POWER (up 63.2%), JSW STEEL (up 45.5%) and TATA STEEL (up 42.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 44,730 (down 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.6%), TATA STEEL (up 2.4%) and TITAN (up 2.0%). Other gainers include BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.2%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,128 (down 0.2%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include IOC (up 3.4%), TATA MOTORS (up 3.3%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.9%). Other gainers include JSW STEEL (up 2.6%) and TATA STEEL (up 2.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,021 to 44,730, registering a gain of 3,709 points (up 8.53%).

MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS Financial Update...

MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS net profit down at Rs 760 million for the quarter ended September 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 928 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 28.7% to Rs 5.6 billion during the period as against Rs 7.9 billion in July-September 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS reported 72.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 38.4% to Rs 22 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MAHARASHTRA SEAMLESS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 8.0x.
