V GUARD INDUSTRIES Share Price Down by 8%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.7%

V GUARD INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 175.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 17,816 (down 0.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are V GUARD INDUSTRIES (down 7.7%) and LAKSHMI MACHINE (down 5.9%).

SKF INDIA (up 2.0%) and AIA ENGINEERING (up 0.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, V GUARD INDUSTRIES has moved down from Rs 215 to Rs 175, registering a loss of Rs 40 (down 18.7%)..

The BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 17,106 to 17,816, registering a gain of 710 points (up 4.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were LAKSHMI MACHINE (up 39.4%), HAVELLS INDIA (up 34.0%) and AIA ENGINEERING (up 24.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 45,530 (down 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are BAJAJ FINANCE and HDFC BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,424 (up 0.6%). GAIL (up 3.7%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,352 to 45,530, registering a gain of 4,178 points (up 10.10%).

V GUARD INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

V GUARD INDUSTRIES net profit stood at Rs 500 million for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 429 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 1.6% to Rs 6.2 billion during the period as against Rs 6.3 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, V GUARD INDUSTRIES reported 24.4% increase in net profit to Rs 1.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.4 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 11.1% to Rs 26 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of V GUARD INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.9x.
