FINOLEX CABLES Share Price Down by 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 1.6%

FINOLEX CABLES share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 343.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 18,106 (down 1.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is FINOLEX CABLES (down 5.8%).

SADBHAV ENGINEERING (up 1.7%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 0.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, FINOLEX CABLES has moved down from Rs 369 to Rs 343, registering a loss of Rs 26 (down 7.1%)..

The BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 17,106 to 18,106, registering a gain of 1,000 points (up 5.8%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were LAKSHMI MACHINE (up 37.6%), HAVELLS INDIA (up 33.2%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 24.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 45,938 (down 0.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA STEEL and POWER GRID.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,447 (down 0.7%). HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.0%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,352 to 45,938, registering a gain of 4,586 points (up 9.89%).

FINOLEX CABLES Financial Update...

FINOLEX CABLES net profit down at Rs 350 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 806 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 46.3% to Rs 3.8 billion during the period as against Rs 7.0 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, FINOLEX CABLES reported 14.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 2.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.0 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 8.0% to Rs 29 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of FINOLEX CABLES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.6x.
