STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 1.0%

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 994 (up 4.6%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 18,811 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE (up 4.6%) and MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 5.6%).

DHFL (down 5.0%) and CORPORATION BANK (down 3.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE has moved up from Rs 373 to Rs 994, registering a gain of Rs 621 (up 166.35%).

The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,466 to 18,811, registering a gain of 3,345 points (up 21.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 455.4%), LAURUS LABS (up 368.7%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 276.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 48,558 (up 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 3.4%), INDUSIND BANK (up 2.4%) and AXIS BANK (up 2.0%). Other gainers include SBI (up 1.6%) and L&T (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,256 (up 0.6%). TATA STEEL (up 3.8%) and HINDALCO (up 3.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,677 to 48,558, registering a gain of 7,881 points (up 19.1%).

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Financial Update...

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.7% to Rs 7.8 billion during the period as against Rs 7.3 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE reported 58.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.0% to Rs 28 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 38.6x.
