Interim results exclude extraordinary / exceptional items
Year-on-Year Performance:
- The company's operating income during the quarter grew 3.6% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were down by 0.2% YoY during the same period.
- The company's operating profit increased by 16.7% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 19.3% in 2QFY21 as against 17.1% in 2QFY20.
- Depreciation charges increased by 15.3% and finance costs declined by 10.5% YoY, respectively.
- Other income increased by 10.2% YoY during the quarter.
- Net profit for the quarter declined by 18.0% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter declined from 15.5% in 2QFY20 to 12.3% in 2QFY21.
Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:
- The company's operating income during the quarter grew 115.4% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were up by 98.8% QoQ during the same period.
- The company's operating profit increased by 208.7% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 19.3% in 2QFY21 as against 13.5% in 1QFY20.
- Net profit for the quarter increased by 271.2% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 7.0% in 1QFY20 to 12.3% in 2QFY21.
