Year-on-Year Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter fell 2.8% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were down by 0.6% YoY during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit declined by 13.8% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 19.9% in 4QFY19 as against 22.4% in 4QFY18.
  • Depreciation charges increased by 10.4% and finance costs declined by 2.8% YoY, respectively.
  • Other income declined by 52.8% YoY during the quarter.
  • Net profit for the quarter declined by 17.0% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter declined from 16.6% in 4QFY18 to 14.2% in 4QFY19.
Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter fell 13.8% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were down by 14.7% QoQ during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit increased by 13.0% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 19.9% in 4QFY19 as against 19.7% in 3QFY18.
  • Net profit for the quarter declined by 10.6% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 13.7% in 3QFY18 to 14.2% in 4QFY19.
