BEML Gains 4%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.6%

BEML share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,713.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 63,286.8 (up 1.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ABB (up 3.2%) and Honeywell Automation (up 2.1%).

AIA Engineering (down 1.1%) and Carborundum Universal (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BEML has moved down from Rs 1,831.2 to Rs 1,713.5, registering a loss of Rs 117.7 (down 6.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved down from 63,429.8 to 63,286.8, registering a loss of 0.2% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were SKF India (down 59.4%), Siemens (down 52.4%) and Carborundum Universal (down 32.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,101.5 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 1.7%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Bajaj Finserv.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,248.1 (up 0.3%). ONGC and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 76,520.4 to 82,101.5, registering a gain of 5,581.1 points (up 7.3%).

BEML Financial Update...

BEML net profit fell 5.9% YoY to Rs 480 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 510 million a year ago. Net sales declined 2.4% to Rs 8,391 million during the period as against Rs 8,598 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, BEML reported 3.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2,925 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,818 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 0.8% to Rs 40,222 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BEML, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 48.2.
