BEML share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,426.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 64,646.6 (down 4.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Graphite India (down 5.3%) and Siemens (down 5.0%).

Over the last one year, BEML has moved up from Rs 1,371.5 to Rs 1,426.8, registering a gain of Rs 55.3 (up 4.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 60,768.0 to 64,646.6, registering a gain of 6.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Forge (up 45.8%), Bharat Electronics (up 41.5%) and Graphite India (up 24.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 72,823.0 (down 2.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 4.4%) and Bajaj Finance (down 4.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Eternal Ltd.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 22,558.0 (down 2.4%). Shriram Transport and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 75,449.1 to 72,823.0, registering a loss of 2,626.1 points (down 3.5%).

BEML Financial Update...

BEML net profit fell 191.7% YoY to Rs -224 million for the quarter ended December 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 244 million a year ago. Net sales rose 23.7% to Rs 10,833 million during the period as against Rs 8,758 million in October-December 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, BEML reported 3.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2,925 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,818 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 0.8% to Rs 40,222 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BEML, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 47.7.
