HINDUSTAN COPPER share price has plunged 13% and is presently trading at Rs 595.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 37,851.0 (down 2.6%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindustan Zinc (down 10.1%) and Vedanta (down 5.0%).

Over the last one year, HINDUSTAN COPPER has moved up from Rs 228.4 to Rs 595.8, registering a gain of Rs 367.4 (up 160.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 28,069.5 to 37,851.0, registering a gain of 34.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Hindalco (up 57.2%), Vedanta (up 50.7%) and Tata Steel (up 46.2%).

The BSE Sensex is at 82,303.8 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Sun Pharma (up 1.7%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,319.6 . Hindalco and Infosys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 76,533.0 to 82,303.8, registering a gain of 5,770.8 points (up 7.5%).

HINDUSTAN COPPER Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN COPPER net profit grew 83.0% YoY to Rs 1,860 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 1,017 million a year ago. Net sales rose 38.6% to Rs 7,180 million during the period as against Rs 5,182 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, HINDUSTAN COPPER reported 58.1% increase in net profit to Rs 4,674 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,957 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 20.6% to Rs 20,710 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN COPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 100.6.
