WALCHANDNAGAR share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 188.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 66,385.3 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 3.1%) and Honeywell Automation (up 2.9%).

Graphite India (down 4.7%) and Carborundum Universal (down 2.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, WALCHANDNAGAR has moved down from Rs 216.5 to Rs 188.9, registering a loss of Rs 27.6 (down 12.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 60,136.3 to 66,385.3, registering a gain of 10.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 73.1%), BHEL (up 38.9%) and Graphite India (up 38.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 82,045.5 (down 0.6%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Steel (down 4.6%) and Infosys (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,252.4 (down 0.7%). Hindalco and Tata Steel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 75,901.4 to 82,045.5, registering a gain of 6,144.1 points (up 8.1%).

WALCHANDNAGAR Financial Update...

WALCHANDNAGAR net profit grew 127.2% YoY to Rs 47 million for the quarter ended December 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 171 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.0% to Rs 810 million during the period as against Rs 591 million in October-December 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, WALCHANDNAGAR reported 105.7% decrease in net profit to Rs -860 million compared to net loss of Rs 418 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 14.3% to Rs 2,592 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of WALCHANDNAGAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -17.4.
